Flow

This thought for the day came in to my inbox and it spoke - hope it does to you too

The Flow
Everything that comes to us, comes to pass or, more accurately, for us to pass on. Not just the money in our pocket, but wisdom, objects, ideas, even opportunities, all come to us, so that, at the right moment, we can pass them on. This is called flow. Being in the flow means being aware that the river of life is flowing to us at every moment. Being in the flow means accepting whatever comes and putting it to good use, before passing it on. Going with the flow means allowing whatever comes to move on freely, without holding on to it in any way.

I shall think on that as I declutter my books this afternoon

Sorting out set honey

The honey we harvested late last summer contained Oil Seed Rape nectar which has a reputation of setting hard. We couldn't bottle it at the time so last Sunday we set to work to sort it out.

As it had set hard we had to buy a special honey creaming drill bit as pictured below. Its quite hard work and certainly we had to watch the drill didn't over heat.

Eventually it was runny enough to pour in to jars

After a long and sticky afternoon here are 18 jars of honey - sorry about picture quality. Not the best honey as I've a feeling there are still lumps in it so more for cooking with than selling but lovely honey all the same

As ever, Thank You Bees!
